Hello everyone!! 🙆🏻
I've finally decided to start a new proper blog since the previous one was a little lame?? HAHAHA and so here it is! Will really want to start posting about my life as frequent as I can. I realised that I have too many different social media platforms that I don't really know where to post my things at and share to people who are interested in it. So I guess this a great platform for me.
Today, just going to share about lots of good food I've had for the past few months to kick start. Really just everything I've ate and I feel that its nice personally so don't mind me HAHAH Time to track how much money I actually spent on food!! 😋💸
24 January 2016
Churros- $5
Back Alley Bites@ Admiralty Pasar Malam
I actually didn't know that the flavours can be mixed and I got pandan, original and red velvet flavours. It's actually the best thing you can get at pasar malam because it's so good OMG Definitely going to get this again when I go to pasar malam unless I find nicer churros elsewhere.

Chicken baked rice meal- $8.90
Yellow Submarine@ Bugis Junction
Not my first time at Yellow Submarine but I really love it a lot! The shop design is super cute and the food is good as well. I ate baked rice every time and its quite nice. The mushroom soup looks like a small cup but its actually very filling. Their fries is sooo good with the cheese, worth the money to eat!!

Japanese Curry Bento- $10.50
Kuriya Japanese Market@ Punggol Waterway Point
First time eating this and I think their Japanese curry is super nice! Always a fan of Japanese cuisine and this so nice even though it was like $10.50. They have many more sets and bentos and even ramen which is good as well.

Sushi Tei @ GEM
First time eating this with my family, THIS IS LIKE MY FAVOURITE JAP RESTAURANT NOW. I think the quality of the sushi and the services are really much better than usual Japanese restaurants. This place is actually quite pricey but worth it for a "once in a while meal". I'm not a fan of seafood actually but it did taste great according to my family. And they have this mango lobster sushi which was very refreshing.

Mango Bingsu- $20.20
Nunsongyee Korean Dessert Café @ Upper Thomson
It was initially $18.90 but plus GST and I honestly think this was a little too pricey and overpriced. Mangos were fresh and there's chunks of cheesecakes and mango ice cream which were actually super nice and refreshing. Really like it but I wouldn't come back since its too pricey for me and there's bingsu that's nicer at a more affordable price.
3 June 2016
Fish&Chips with Baked potato and Mac&Cheese- $10.50
Astons @ Sembawang Shopping Centre
This is my standard usual order at Astons. Ate it for a countless times and honestly sometimes its like superrr nice sometimes its just okayokay AHAHAH I guess its a great alternative for an affordable western restaurant to go to.
Swee Choon @ Jalan Besar
My second time here and its seriously soooo good and filling since we ordered so much. Dim Sum is my favourite as well and all these are just like naughty food but you still eat it anyways. Favourite will be 流沙包 which is like salted egg liquid oozing out when you open the bun and it honestly is the best!! Its always long queue there and there's so many people but we're kinda lucky to wait for only a really short time.

Design your own Maki- $8.90
MAKISAN @ Cineleisure
Honestly this deserves to be the star of this post!! Virgin try at Makisan and seriously its super super nice. Will definitely eat this everytime I see it HAHA I guess the unique part is that you can customise it to your own preference and add whatever ingredients you like so definitely it'll taste good. Its actually quite filling and a little awkward everytime I have to squeeze each sushi into my mouth since its quite big AHAH but love this place a lot!!

Green Tea Bingsu & Injeolmi Bingsu- About $14-$16 each
Ice Lab Café @ Somerset 313
This deserves another award because its the best bingu I've had!! Its pretty okay for the price if you're sharing with few people. Really love the bingsu there because their shaved ice melts as if its magical in your mouth OMG The green tea one was very refreshing and there's hidden matcha ice cream underneath which is super nice. The injeolmi one was good too but personally if you're looking for injeolmi bingsu, O'ma spoon have the best one!! Overall, this place is just super good and I'll come here whenever I want to eat bingsu HAHAHA

Belgian waffles with Gula Melaka Ice cream-$11.90
Sunday Folks @ Holland Village
Last on the list today, my favourite dessert, waffle ice cream!! I have a pretty bad sweet tooth and just love sweet stuff a lot. This is super super filling and I had no idea why I got two waffles when one is actually enough. The soft serve ice cream was really sweet since I got Gula Melaka and it melts pretty fast. There's a wide variety of toppings that I didn't know which one to choose from. A piece of advice, there's no need to order a sauce as your toppings unless you really want extra. This is because there's actually sauce on the plate already so don't waste your toppings like I did HAHAH Honestly, the ice cream looks so pretty but I wont come back again because it taste quite gelat.
That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed reading. Thank you and byebye!!
